IT’S the end of the rock and rollercoaster road for Aerosmith as a bunch of musical muppets finally kick them out of the studio this summer – with a little help from some iconic rock soundtrack staples.
That’s when the much-loved Rock’n’Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Florida’s Walt Disney World welcomes its new signature stars – Dr Teeth and The Electric Mayhem, straight from the classic Muppets TV show.

I first told you about the Muppet takeover here back in 2024 when it was in the planning stages, but now the transformation of the ride, which had starred Steven Tyler & Co since 1999, is almost upon us.
This Summer, we’ll speed to a soundtrack including Dr Teeth and the band’s takes on the likes of Blur classic Song 2 and Steppenwolf’s immortal Born To Be Wild blasting in our ears on the white knuckle dark ride.
They’re the first two songs announced for the attraction, which will send riders rushing across town to make it to the gig on time. And you can be sure that wildman drummer Animal will make an appearance.
The giant guitar out front will be getting a rebranding, too. A new psychedelic design inspired by the classic Muppet car paint job, will include Dr Teeth’s piano motif and a shiny golden key.

It’s not the first time that Aerosmith, who recently made a surprise comeback with their first new music in years, have been kicked off the coaster. At the Disneyland Paris sister ride, they were replaced by Iron Man.
The Parisian park’s Rock’n’Roller Coaster closed in 2019, re-opening three years later as MCU-themed Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. For updates on the new Muppet attraction, check out the Disney Parks blog.
