TOMMY Shelby has finally realised his dream – the Peaky Blinders have quietly staged a capital coup, and will soon be lording it over London, with the opening of a hot new tourist attraction.
Peaky Blinders Underworld, which opens within the historic railway arches close to London Bridge Station on August 13, will be an immersive and interactive experience for fans of the franchise.
What’s more, it’s official. The new attraction opens by order of the Peaky Blinders, in that it has the Brummie blessing of show creator, writer and director Steven Knight himself.

So what’s it all about? And what can we expect?
Creators of the new initiative say it offers an opportunity to step inside the world of the gang through interactive gameplay, live entertainment and actor-led encounters.

Guests will begin in the iconic Garrison Tavern, a faithfully recreated post-World War One Birmingham pub, which will be open to all and free to enter. There’ll be all the atmosphere of the Shelbys’ notorious watering hole.

We’ll be able to enjoy live music whilst sampling the drinks, including draught beer, wine and spirits, alongside a selection of light bites. But the Garrison boasts a dark secret – a hidden illicit speakeasy and more.

This is the Peaky Blinders underworld of the attraction’s name, and the area for which we’ll have to pay admission, an experience which invites guests to discover if they have what it takes to become a member of the gang.

Ticket-holders can freely explore themed environments such as Garrison Lane, The Bookies, Chinatown and The Small Heath Fairground, each offering its own distinctive atmosphere, gameplay and hands-on challenges.

“Actor-driven encounters draw guests further into a world of shifting alliances and hidden agendas, opening up new possibilities designed to prove their nerve, instinct and loyalty,” say organisers.

We’re promised a keen eye’s attention to detail throughout, with faithful recreations of interiors, and plenty of Easter eggs for fans of the series to uncover, adding another layer of interest.

Beyond the main experience, The Garrison Tavern will also include a dedicated events space, hosting a programme of special late-night performances, live music and themed events that will bring the world of the Shelbys to life after darkness falls.

It has certainly excited Steven Knight, who has already overseen six smash-hit seasons of the show and the recent Netflix movie, Peaky Blinders : The Immortal Man, with another two six-episode sequel seasons set for 2027 and 2028.
“Peaky Blinders Underworld is not just a recreation of the Shelby family’s world, but a much wider destination,” he says.

“This venue gives fans the opportunity to socially engage with their beloved series through a completely new prism, while those less familiar with the show will find plenty to love about it too.”
